सिन्धुपाल्चोक घर भई काँडाघारी बस्ने गम्भीरमान श्रेष्ठको परिवार नै लागुपदार्थको ओसारपसारमा संलग्न छ । लागुऔषध नियन्त्रण व्युरोका अनुसार श्रेष्ठ परिवारका चारजना अहिले जेलमा रहेका छन । जेल आउने जाने भइरहन्छ, तर उनीहरुले कारोबार छाडेका छैनन् ।
दुई छोरी उमिर्ला र सीता गत ३० जेठमा नियन्त्रित औषधि बुरपेनफिर्न र डाइजेपामसहित पक्राउ परेका छन ।लागु औषध सेवन गर्दा एक किशोर छोराको ज्यान गएपनि उक्त दम्पतीले पेसा नछोडेको जनाएका छन । उक्त दम्पतीले ६ वटी छोरीलाई पनि कारोबारमा सामेल गराएका छन् ।
उनीहरुका छोरीहरुले लागुऔषध केहो भन्ने थाहा नपाउँदै ओसारपसारमा लागेका थिए । जान्ने भएपछि कोहीले बिहे गरी गए पनि दुई छोरीले भने बुवाआमाको बिँडो थाम्दै कारोबारलाई निरन्तरता दिएका थिए । दुई छोरीहरु तेस्रो पटक पक्राउ परेका थिए । उनीहरुको बिहेपछि ज्वाईहरुलाई पनि सोही पेसामा सामेल गराएका थिए । उनीहरुसँगै श्रीमान पनि पक्राउ परेपछि दास्रो बिहे गरेका थिए । दोस्रो पटकका श्रीमान पनि पक्राउ परेपछि उनीहरुले ब्वाई फ्रेण्ड बनाउँदै हिँड्न गरेका छन् । उक्त परिवार १२ बर्र्षदेखि निरन्तर लागूऔषध कारोबारमा सक्रिय रहेको छ ।

Nepali Movie - CHOKHAUNEE
Chokhaunee [The purification ] is a short movie about a cultural practice among the Tharu tribe in Mid and far western districts, Dang, Banke, Bardiya ,kailali and Kanchanpur. This movie portrays both the sexual exploitation and liberalism practiced in the indigenous Tharu community. This is a pathetic story of a Tharu woman KUMLI who is forced to break the social norms and values so as to satisfy her sexual urge, and is prepared to easily accept any penalty to be offered. At the same time , this story describes a society where extramarital relation, though not welcomed, doesn't destroy all the relation of family social structure; and where there are curative measures --though not humane to emotionally and physically torture a woman-that help heal the broken relations and keep everything intact.

Singh Is Kinng is a 2008 Bollywood comedy film. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee and stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, the film also featured a music video with Snoop Dogg. About 75% of the movie was shot in Australia, around the Gold Coast region and Brisbane using an Australian production team. The film was released on 8 August 2008. Akshay Kumar has been nominated for Best Actor at the 3rd Asian Film Awards for his performance in the film.
